Do It Yourself

New Stairs

The steps on the front of our house have seen better days. The steps themselves are rotting and splintering. The runners are rotting and falling apart. So I made a trip to Lowe's to get some wood to build new steps. I looked in to concrete steps, but they were $500 and weigh 400 lbs. So I decided to stick with wooden steps. Took me about an hour to remove the old ones and build the new ones. These are screwed together with 3 in screws instead of 1 1/2 in nails on the old ones.
