I built this kitchen furniture for Michelle a couple of years ago and she has been begging me to make some more drawers. The 2 drawers are made from 5/8" plywood and I used pocket screws to secure everything together. Should be very sturdy.

My daughter said she needed a bed for my grandson, Ollie, so I said I would build one for him.

We had our roof replaced yesterday due to storm damage several months ago and we decided to go with a different color. The original roof was green and the one we chose is brown. The shutters on the front of the house were black and really didn't match the roof, so I decided to replace them.

It was time to build a bed for Liam, since he was still sleeping in his baby bed. This project used 2x4's and 1x4's held together with pocket screws.

In search of help for our special needs son, we sold most of our furniture, packed up everything we owned and moved from Texas to Tennessee. We were told Vanderbilt or Boston Children's would be our best bet for therapy and medical assistance. Our bedroom furniture is some of what we sold when we moved. My first task when we arrived in our new house was to build a bed. Here is what I came up with.
