Farmhouse Bed

In search of help for our special needs son, we sold most of our furniture, packed up everything we owned and moved from Texas to Tennessee. We were told Vanderbilt or Boston Children's would be our best bet for therapy and medical assistance. Our bedroom furniture is some of what we sold when we moved. My first task when we arrived in our new house was to build a bed. Here is what I came up with.
